More Testing at Naval Base Everett: Don't Panic!

For tomorrow, Wednesday July 25th: Don't panic! It's just training down at the Naval Base Everett. See below for the full press release from NSE.

Naval Station Everett will be conducting a security exercise tomorrow, Wednesday, July 25. Training is scheduled to occur between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Usual base access will not be affected.

The training will include shooting of blank rounds to simulate gunfire and a heightened security presence at the base waterfront and around the harbor.

Those nearby may see or hear activities associated with the exercise such as loudspeaker announcements, active emergency response vehicles and boats, or flashing lights.

Regularly scheduled exercises help maintain and improve qualifications of emergency response personnel responsible for protecting the safety and security of the Navy base, homeported vessels, and surrounding maritime environment.
