Popcorn in the Park Movie Line Up Has Been Announced

The City of Marysville has announced the 2018 movie line up for their Popcorn in the Park event! If you’re looking for a fun and free way to get out to enjoy the night air with friends and family, this could be the event for you.

2018 Marysville Popcorn in the Park Outdoor Movies Announced

Marysville Parks, Culture and Recreation’s Popcorn in the Park Outdoor Movies return to Jennings Memorial Park beginning on Saturday, July 14th. Movies begin at Dusk (approximately 9:00 pm) and vary in length and ratings. Bring blankets or low-backed lawn chairs and a picnic dinner to the Jennings Park Ballfield (6915 Armar Road). All movies are FREE thanks to our exclusive sponsor Real Estate Rockstars. Free popcorn will be provided by the Marysville Kiwanis Club, with additional concessions available for purchase. Saturday, July 14-Despicable Me 3 (PG)

The 2018 series kicks off with Despicable Me 3. Gru is back and teaming up with his long-lost twin brother to defeat Balthazar Bratt, a former '80s child star turned bad guy and Gru's most formidable nemesis to date!

Saturday, July 21-Jumanji (PG-13)

Welcome to the jungle! Our next featured movie is Jumanji. Adventure along with four teens as they try to survive the jungle-themed magical board game they were drawn into via an aged video game console.

Saturday, July 28-Cars 3 (G)

Vroom, vroom...he's back! Race car Lightning McQueen suffers a severe crash while trying to compete with a younger rival named Jackson Storm in Cars 3. Afterwards, McQueen embraces new technologies as he trains for a winning return to the racetrack.

Saturday, August 4-Wonder Woman (PG-13)

In Wonder Woman an Amazon princess vows to use her superhuman powers to restore peace in the world and journeys away from her safe island home to the outside world. With the help of a crash-landed American pilot, she works to put an end to the first World War.

Saturday, August 11-Star Wars: The Last Jedi (PG-13)

Star Wars-The Last Jedi closes out our amazing line up of cinema under the stars in Jennings Park. Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga. Come early to get a great blanket space!
