​Everett once again has paired up with KXA and KRKO to put on the most spectacular fireworks show North of the Sno-King line for Everett’s July 4th Celebration. With a draw that brings in several thousand area residents to the downtown core, things can expect to be a little more hectic and celebratory than your run of the mill Thursday.

In 2017, pilots warned that unless training was stepped up for new pilots, the close calls due to pilot error would likely end with deadly results. Two years later, on February 23, 2019 an Atlas Boeing 767 crashed near Houston, killing three onboard.

Sorticulture began as a one day art show in the Evergreen Arboretum within Legion park before growing so large that it was moved to the park itself. It has been a three day event since 2008.
