You Can Now Purchase Part-Ownership to the Historic Everett Theatre

The Historic Everett Theatre Preservation Society is seeking buyers who may be interested in purchasing a small portion of the $1.9m pricetag as an investment in the future of the building.

If you have an interest in history or showbusiness, this could be the ticket for you. The current group of partners has put their money where their mouth is by pooling $300,000 to be used as down payment.

Below is the full press release:

“Would you, or someone you may know like to be in show business and own a piece of history too?

Imagine owning an interest in the Historic Everett Theatre. This 117-year-old building in the heart of downtown Everett was saved from an uncertain future by Craig Shriner in 2014 and is now ready to face a brighter future.

Over the past 3+ years, the current management has created a very successful concert and event venue, that has been recognized the last 2 years by Seattle A-List voting as the best local Theatre venue, 3rd by Best of Western Washington, behind only the Paramount and 5thAve Theatre’s, and 4thbest music venue behind the Gorge, Paramount, and 5thAve Theatre’s. In 2014 we won the KSER Voice of the Community Award and this year we were recognized by the City of Everett as the Organization Making an Impact receiving the Wendt Award for 2017.

All the hard work that has been done over the past several years, has allowed the theatre to reach national distinction for performers and booking agents. Over 25,000 patrons attended events in 2017, and the trend has been on the rise since 2014. Every year we strive to bring in bigger names, and a broader platform of performers, renters and conferences. This year we will feature such outstanding performers as: Blood, Sweat and Tears, Los Lonely Boys, Aaron Neville, Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Blind Boys of Alabama, Peter Rivera (Rare Earth) Second City Comedy, just to name a few.

We’re currently offering a limited number of ownership opportunities. As an owner, you’ll receive tickets for every event, as well as a name plaque on 2 seats in the theatre. Each owner, if so desired will be a member Board of Directors for the Preservation Society, a 501 c 3 organization (81-2518066) and have a proportionate vote in all matters of the theatre. Ownership includes ownership in the Real Estate, Business and all theatre owned materials and equipment. Complete business plan available upon request.

Once these unique opportunities have been reserved, all current and new owners will enter into a real estate contract (contact Curt Shriner, hetmanager@gmail.com) for more information) for purchase of the theatre from Craig Shriner. Purchase price is $1,900,000.00. This is currently $500,000 below list price. The current group of partners has already paid in $300,000 to be used as down payment on the building.

This is a real estate transaction and is not meant as a public stock offering or anything that would violate any Securities and Exchange Commission Law, Rules or Regulations.”
